Adept’s Lynx Blazes a Path for Mobile Robots in Manufacturing

Besides being a crowd pleaser at Automate 2013, Adept Technology’s new Lynx mobile robot is sleek, compact and ready to take on flexible manufacturing’s navigational challenges.

“Unlike traditional autonomously guided vehicles (AGVs), Lynx requires no facility modifications, such as floor magnets or navigational beacons, saving users up to 15% in deployment costs,” said Rush LaSelle, vice president and general manager of mobile robots for Adept Technology.
