You can use a 3D printer to create just about anything, even robotic dinosaurs, which is what paleontologists at Drexel University are attempting to do, according to Forbes. By printing the scanned images of dinosaur bones, they hope to create a working model of a dinosaur in order to study how the actual animal moved eons ago.
“By the end of the year, the paleontologists at Drexel hope to have a completed 3-D robotic dinosaur limb featuring muscles and tendons. The next step after that is to build a full robotic dinosaur replica,” Forbes writer Alex Knapp noted.
