Helukabel Acquires Robotec Systems
Newly integrated units allow Helukabel to promote enhanced levels of robotic services to a global customer base

Helukabel, a German wire and cable company with U.S. operations in Elgin, Illinois, announced its acquisition of Robotic Systems GmbH of Kamp-Lintfort, Germany yesterday. The acquisition will make Robotec Systems a fully-owned subsidiary of Helukabel, and Helukabel’s robotics division, Helurobotics, will now operate as Robotec Systems.

The new Robotec Systems will offer the complete range of robotic cabling services from system analysis, consultation and planning to design, installation and warranty maintenance.

Bringing together Helurobotics and Robotec Systems allows the combined entity better overall capability in the marketplace, and gives robotic cable systems an extra chance to gain ground in a variety of industries…
