Robots part of the solution for 25% industry-wide productivity decline

That dependence on paper helps explain why the $4.6-trillion global construction industry is one of the world’s least efficient, Stathis said.

Bucking the common trend, productivity in the construction industry is down 25% over the last 40 years, Stathis said, adding, “We lose billions of dollars a year because of our inefficiencies.”
