Research and development teams work to increase efficiency, lower maintenance and operating costs and improve safety through the use of trenchless technology, no-dig technology and no-hole technology. They have created custom inspection equipment, advanced electromechanical systems and updated processes.
ULC also works to provide a range of equipment and services to gas utilities and the energy industry such as camera inspections of live gas mains, robotic cast iron joint sealing in live gas mains, no-dig anode installation and robotic cased pipeline inspection. Operator qualified crews perform services such as meter exchanges, meter upgrades and technical services.
ULC Robotics is recognized for developing and commercializing cutting-edge robotics systems for pipeline inspections and rehabilitation, including live gas lines and sewers.
