iRobot Continues To Innovate With Inflatable Robot Arm For The Military
The versatile company is expanding its military robot fleet to include an ingeniously designed, lightweight arm developed via the DARPA-funded M3 (Maximum Mobility and Manipulation) program. The robot is referred to as an Advanced Inflatable Robot (AIR). It is inflated and deflated with an on-board pump, and is able to move its joints without embedded motors or an internal skeleton.
