We deliver fast, safe, and more frequent data to energy and construction companies using the ADAPI System. The system consists of a UAV, dock station, and software portal. Compared to the existing methods of data collection—boots on the ground, helicopter, and satellite imagery—our UAVs fly automatically and provides a broader range of data collection and processing including high-res optical, infrared, and gas-sniffing data.
Dock stations then enable the quadrotor to autonomously swap and charge batteries, offload capture data and upload them to the cloud for immediate analysis. The dock stations also allow for easy UAV storage for future flights. The system can handle harsh conditions including 30mph winds, snow, and rain. Customers can access analyzed data from anywhere in the world, at any time immediately after the flight through the software portal. Each system operates on the customer site without any human intervention. The ADAPI System is protected by two pending-utility patents. The patents protect the quad and dock station interfaces and the dock station mechanisms that enable scalability. IDENTIFIED is licensing a patent and several key software technologies from the University of Pennsylvania. This technology enables trajectory planning so that a single site can utilize a swarm of docks and UAVs for a larger coverage area and multiple types of sensing at once.
