Left Hand Robotics Inc. designs commercial-class robots that help medium-sized to large companies scale their business by reducing costs due to labor.
LHR robots are designed to work outdoors, initially focusing on the labor-intensive problem of snow clearing. The robots can autonomously clear snow from walkways, sidewalks and other areas that are difficult to reach with a traditional plow.
In addition, the robots can be configured to treat paths with de-icer and to document the work as it is completed. With our patent-pending solution, Left Hand Robotics is uniquely positioned to be first mover in an inefficient, highly fragmented market that is ripe for disruption.
Even though we are initially focusing on snow clearing, the nature of the robot platform will allow us to easily move into other markets. For example, by swapping out the front broom attachment for a lawn mower attachment, we can now sell into the significantly larger landscaping market.
This also allows our snow-clearing customers to be able to use their robots year-round. Since most of our customers are also in the landscaping business, this makes future cross-sell opportunities low cost to us.
