MedEXO Robotics is an early stage wearable robotics company based in Hong Kong. The company creates wearable robotic devices.
The company has developed a multifunctional wearable robotic glove, affordable and user-friendly for patients, caretakers and the public.
Their wearable robotic device is non-invasive and sleek, like a glove worn by patients. Their goal is to relief symptoms of neurodegenerative disease such as Parkinson’s Disease, hence reduce the obstructions to patients’ daily lives.
The device not only stabilizes the wearer’s arm by giving resistance and reducing involuntary tremors; but also provides an assistive force to support the wearer’s intended movements.
Currently MedEXO Robotics is developing an exoskeleton suit to address a variety of healthcare applications. This system is being designed to provide assistance to patients and elderly people.
