January was a busy month for me – not only did I attend several technology trade events that included a heavy dose of robotics companies, but I also found some time to participate in some interviews discussing the latest trends around robotics.
Video: Talking tech, retailing and Cocoa Puffs
First up, I was a return guest on Computerworld’s TechTalk video series, in which I joined co-hosts Ken Mingis and Juliet Beauchamp to discuss my experiences at this year’s CES, as well as insights around exoskeletons and retail robotics from a recent trip to the National Retail Federation show in New York. Watch the video above – it is a fantastic interview if I do say so myself, especially around the 20-minute mark where I discuss whether a robot can detect whether a grocery store is out of Cocoa Puffs.
As you can tell from my original appearance on TechTalk, you can probably see how my beard growth (or lack of beard growth) has progressed.
Audio: Robots and jobs with Randi Zuckerberg
Next up, I was one of the guests on a national satellite radio program on SiriusXM. On this episode of “Randi Zuckerberg Means Business”, which originally aired on SiriusXM Channel 132, Business Radio, I discussed some of the latest thoughts and opinions around the impact of robotics and automation on jobs, highlighting the new wave of collaborations between humans and robots, and attempting to dispel the myths around the idea of “robots stealing jobs.”
As always, I’d be happy to appear on your radio show, video podcast, TV show or other media outlet – just let me know!
