GreyOrange is a multinational firm that designs, manufactures and deploys advanced robotics systems for automation at warehouses, distribution and fulfillment centers. The company claims 90% market share of India’s automation market and serves over 40 clients with two product lines: Butler (an autonomous mobile platform) and Sorter (a conveyor-based sorting solution).
With deep domain expertise, world-class hardware and software engineering and the passion to solve complex business problems, the company is disrupting the way logistics and supply chain processes across the world are being optimized.
Founded in 2011, GreyOrange is headquartered in Singapore with offices in India, Hong Kong, Japan and UAE, and a state-of-the-art Research and Development center in Gurgaon, India.
The company’s robots are optimizing warehousing processes. Reducing order fulfillment and inventory replenishment time in warehouses is imperative for businesses today to gain a competitive advantage.
The GreyOrange Butler is an innovative robotic goods-to-person technology for automated inventory storage (putaway) and replenishment, picking and combining orders in fulfillment and distribution centers.
The system seamlessly adapts to changing inventory profiles, demand patterns and peaks. Modular system architecture ensures bi-directional scalability to increase storage volume or fulfillment throughput independently, by adding more storage racks or robots, as needed. Similarly, their sortation systems solve challenges such as increasing costs, high order volumes, manpower issues, shorter order processing window & scope for zero-error, overcoming any operational inefficiencies in the processes of distribution or fulfillment centers.
GreyOrange has expanded its range of Butler robots with the addition of the Butler XL. The range is able to manage a variety of payloads from 100 to 1600 kgs (220 to 3500 lbs).
Its beta launch of the new-gen Butler PickPal, an autonomous picking solution, has been well received. The Butler PickPal is powered by Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Machine Vision to unlock the next level of efficiency in the order picking process. It works seamlessly with the goods-to-person GreyOrange Butler robotics system which enables warehouses to manage high-speed operations by automating order picking and fulfillment.
GreyOrange combines their expertise in robotics, hardware, and software engineering to solve operational inefficiencies in warehouse operations at third-party logistics vendors and companies with in-house logistics functions.
