Privately owned Intellibot Robotics LLC has been acquired by Sealed Air Corp. (NYSE:SEE). Financial terms were not disclosed.

Intellibot develops robotic commercial floor-cleaning machines. Sealed Air Corp. plans to merge those assets with its existing Diversey Care division.

The acquisition includes Intellibot’s manufacturing and engineering operations in Richmond, Virginia (headquarters in Portland, Oregon) as well as certain intellectual property and sales, according to a news release on April 15.

Diversey, Inc., formerly JohnsonDiversey, Inc., is a Racine, Wisconsin provider of cleaning and hygiene products to the institutional marketplace, serving lodging, food service, retail, health care, food and beverage companies, as well as building service contractors worldwide. Diversey is a brand of Sealed Air Corporation under its Diversey Care Division.
