Seegrid Corporation has partnered with Topper Industrial, a manufacturer specializing in industrial carts, industrial containers and lift systems, and other material handling equipment, to provide vision guided vehicles and cart-based materials handling solutions.
Seegrid has introduced its GWS35 unmanned walkie stacker that automatically picks, drops, stacks and puts away loads up to 72 inches at a maximum load capacity of 3,500 pounds.

A real example of flexible automation offering a quick return on investment can be found in the Seegrid AGVs deployed at Giant Eagle.
APC chose to automate the transportation process with Seegrid robotic industrial trucks rather than Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) once it was determined that the labor costs associated with traditional forklift operations were not optimal and AGVs would be more difficult to integrate.
